Employee Engagement - Settings
Overview
Employee engagement settings allow you to configure the service. Use settings to enable or disable survey methods based on your organizational preferences, set permissions, and automate notifications related to surveys.
Enable or disable survey methods
To enable or disable survey methods:
- Navigate to Settings > Employee Engagement > Configuration tab.

Use the toggle button to enable or disable the survey methods.
The following are the types of surveys. (Click on the corresponding survey type below to learn more in detail).
⬡ eNPS⬡ Pulse Survey⬡ Engagement Survey This action hides or displays the corresponding survey tabs within the
Employee Engament service.
Additionally, the "
Shared Servey" tab will be visible if a survey is shared with the logged in user.

Set permissions
- By default, administrators can add surveys and share reports
- Administrators can only view surveys they have created or that are shared with them
- Department heads can add surveys only for their department members
- Managers can add surveys only for their reportees
To set permission on who can add surveys and share survey reports:
- Navigate to Settings > Employee Engagement > Permissions.

- Select or unselect the checkbox in the Add survey and Share report columns to grant the manager and department head the ability to add surveys or share survey reports.
Automation
Automation in Employee Engagement allows you to customize the notification templates to your preference. The following notification templates can be customized.
- New survey added
- Reminder to complete the survey
- Survey period extended
Customize Notification Template
To customize the notification template:
- Navigate to Settings > Employee Engagement > Automation.

- Click Edit Template on the notification you wish to customize. The edit template window appears.

- Customize the survey template as required. Options include inserting fields, formatting options, adding an image and more. By default, the survey image is enabled and can be disabled if you do not want to include it in the email being sent.
- Finally, click Save.
