Prerequisites

  2. For importing from Google Photos or Flickr, authentication is required.

Steps  

How to insert an image 

Insert using the toolbar  

  1. Place the cursor where the image should appear.
  2. Click Insert > Image.
  3. Choose a source from the dropdown.

Insert from your device  
  1. Go to Insert > Image > Upload...
  2. Choose an image from your device.
Insert from URL  
  1. Go to Insert > Image > Insert a URL.
  2. Paste the image link.
  3. Review the preview and click Insert.


Insert from image library  
  1. Go to Insert > Image > My Library.
  2. Choose an image and click Insert.
  3. Use Search and Sort to locate images quickly.


Insert from Google Photos  
  1. Go to Insert > Image > Google Photos
  2. Click Connect to Google Photos.
  3. Sign in and grant access.
  4. Choose an image and insert it.


Insert from web search  
  1. Go to Insert > Image > Web Search.

Compressing Images in Zoho Writer

Inserting large images can significantly increase your document size and affect loading and collaboration performance. Zoho Writer includes a built-in image compression option that reduces file size without visibly affecting image quality. To ensure images are automatically compressed:
  1. Go to Settings > More Settings > Image Quality.
  2. Enable Compress images added to documents.
