The navigation sidebar in Cliq provides you with easy accessibility to modules that help you to connect, communicate and collaborate.

View Type
There are two types of views for the navigation sidebar. They are:
Categorized view - all active conversations will be displayed under Chat.
Consolidated view - all active conversations will be displayed under specific tabs.
Categorized view
In the categorized view, you can view My Pins, Conversations, Threads and Muted Conversations as sub-categories under the Chat module.
Consolidated view
In the consolidated view, you can view all the conversations inside a seperate module, i.e conversations will be categorized in their respective modules.

Bots
Bots can be classified under Contacts or can have a separate menu option in the LHS.

Threads
In both views you can view threads inside a section under Chats or have a seperate menu option in the LHS. In the categorized view, threads can be combined with conversations or inline within parent chats.

Let us see each module in detail -
My Pins
You will find the My Pins module in the categorized view. The My Pins module let's you pin all the conversations and chats you frequently interact with for instant communication or collaboration.
Chats
In the consolidated view, you will find My Pins, Conversations (Direct messages, Group chats, and channels), Threads, Muted conversations etc., inside the Chat module.
In the categorized view, you will find direct messages and group chats inside the Chat module.

Channels
In the Channels module you will find list of all the channels you are a part of categorized under the specific channel type.

Consolidated options in chats and channels
When you hover over a chat or a channel, you will be able to find three options:
Show infoHere, you'll be able to view a quick overview of the conversation.
More (three dots)
When you select more, you will find options specific to each type of conversation, such as chats, channels, threads, bots, or group chats. Below are the options available.
Mark as read/Mark as unread: If you have unread messages in a conversation, you can select Mark as read, or if you want to remove the read receipt for a message, you can select Mark as unread.
Follow/Unfollow thread: Using this option, you can follow or unfollow threads.
Remove: You will be able to remove chats, bots, group chats, and threads from being displayed in the chats module.
Move to: You can move conversations from your pins from one folder to another using the move to option.
Close
Here you can close your conversation and remove it from being displayed in the navigation sidebar.
Bots
In the bots module you will find all the bots that you have created or subscribed to. In consolidated view, bots will be available under Contacts as a sub-category.


Note:
- You can create/subscribe to bots insides the Bots module by clicking the + icon.
History
In the History module, you will find the logs of all the conversations, calls and recordings made. The module holds the logs inside the following categories - Direct calls, Meetings, Broadcast, Conversations and Sent Messages.
Phone

Files
In the files module, you will find all the images,videos, audio and files shared across Cliq. The files are categorized as : Shared in Cliq, Taz, and Recordings.
Shared in Cliq - Images, videos, audio and files shared with or from you across Cliq can be viewed here.
Taz - Images, videos, audio and files shared to Taz can be viewed here.
Recordings - Recordings of meetings you were a part of or shared with you can be viewed here.

More Settings
To customize your navigation sidebar or to view more apps, select the settings icon.
You will find the following options:
More apps
You will find all the apps you've installed and widgets in the more apps section. You can add them to the navigation sidebar for easy access. You can also install apps from Zoho Marketplace.

Configure SidebarBy clicking configure sidebar you will be prompt to the Profile & Settings, where you can customize your navigation sidebar according to your requirement. Night mode
You can switch to night mode by enabling the toggle button available in the bottom-left corner of the navigation sidebar.

Note:
When you receive messages from channels/chat or you've missed a call, a notification count will appear on the respective module.
