How to use Writer's Credit Points Add-on for document automation

How to use Writer's Credit Points Add-on for document automation

Updated on 4th June 2021 to add new flexible pricing plans, bring better clarity on who gets 1000 credits vs 200 credits, and CRM Plus changes.

A large number of businesses on the Zoho platform use Writer's document merge options to create, design, and send out personalized documents, contracts, mails, and so much more in the push of a button.

As your businesses grow, the scale at which you operate grow as well. To enable bulk merges of documents (generating copies, receiving additional submissions, and sending mass mails), and to provide you better tools to support the scale, we're introducing a new add-on that will let you increase your merge limits to even higher volumes your business is likely to use in a month.

Here's how it works:

Users of the following products (that use Zoho WorkDrive as storage) get 1000 free credits with their account:
  • Zoho CRM
  • Zoho WorkDrive
  • Zoho Recruit
  • Zoho People
  • Qntrl/Orchestly

Users of the following products (that use Zoho Docs as storage) get 200 free credits:
  • Zoho Forms
  • Zoho Docs
  • Zoho Creator

Using the add-on, you can buy additional credits for merges in multiples of 500 merges up to 40,000 merges a month—apart from the free merges that come with your account.

There's also a flexible billing option whereby you pay based on what you've used at the end of a month.

The add-on subscription also comes with premium support from our experts, an admin dashboard to manage your mailing domains, and more granular controls to support the scale.

Custom limits
Does your business need the limits lifted even higher? Write to us, and we'll set up a custom limit and pricing for you.

When does this roll out?
The new limits, along with the option to buy the add-on will roll out from November 1, 2020
to all our users.

What about Zoho One, Zoho CRM Plus and other bundles?
Bulk volume options and limits are applied for users in Zoho CRM Plus, and not yet for for users in Zoho One and other product bundles. We'll keep you informed as soon as it's ready.

Hoping everyone's staying safe.
