Introducing Simplified Skill Management and Secure Custom Views

Introducing Simplified Skill Management and Secure Custom Views

We’ve introduced enhanced Skill Set interface for managing skills and improved options for securing and describing your custom views.

Skill Set UI Revamp

The Skill Set feature in Zoho Recruit now has an updated user interface designed for clarity and organization. Here’s what you can expect with this new layout:

Simplified Skill Management

The new UI allows you to add and categorize skills more easily. When creating a Skill Set, you can see each skill, assign a preference as Primary or Secondary, and organize it based on job opening requirements. This feature is handy when defining required skills for different job roles in a structured manner.

Custom View Enhancements

We’ve also enhanced Custom Views to help you better manage and secure your data views within Zoho Recruit. Here’s what’s been added:

Custom View Descriptions

Now, when creating a custom view, you can add a description to provide context about the view. This is especially useful in team environments where multiple users rely on shared views. By adding a clear description, other team members can immediately understand the criteria and purpose of the view without needing to ask or verify.

Lock Custom View Feature

The Lock Custom View feature allows users with the appropriate permissions to lock a view, preventing unauthorized edits. Once a view is locked, only those with specific access (like administrators) can make changes to the view’s configuration.

This feature is useful in situations where consistency is needed, such as maintaining a standardized view for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) or for ensuring data integrity when views are shared across departments.

We appreciate your continued support and strive to exceed your expectations.

Regards,
Team Zoho Recruit
