Tip of the week #28: Show/ hide, enable/ disable and empty/ delete your calendars in Zoho Calendar.

The popularity of online calendars has soared in recent years. It's used both for personal and professional reasons. Calendars have evolved into an effective productivity tool in our lives, from creating events for birthdays and anniversaries to scheduling weekly meetings and conferences.

All these events in your calendar grid may make it feel cluttered. To help you with this Zoho Calendar provides you with the following options:
  1. Show/ Hide Calendars
  2. Enable/ Disable Calendars
  3. Empty/ Delete Calendars

Show/ Hide Calendars

The left pane on the calendar screen will list all the calendars that have been added to your Zoho Calendar. From the settings tab, you can choose to show or hide the calendars that are displayed. Learn more.

Choosing to hide your calendar from the left pane will help you reduce the number of calendars listed on the left pane. This in turn will hide the events from the calendar grid.

Enable/ Disable Calendars

If you don't want the events from a calendar to appear on your calendar grid, you can disable a calendar without hiding it from the calendar menu display on the left pane. Learn more.

Empty Calendars

If you wish to delete all the events in your calendar, you need not manually delete every event. The Empty calendar option allows you to delete all the events from a calendar. By emptying a calendar, all your events and reminders will be removed and the calendar will be cleared but not deleted. So you can use the calendar create and add events to your calendar grid.
