Adding Speakers without requiring an email

This is an old question, but many other issues have been resolved, so seeing if this show-stopper will ever be addressed in the product timeline.

You currently must use speaker email addresses to enter any detailed speaker information.  This just isn't a workable solution for most folks that produce shows on a regular basis.  I know the target here is a simple out of the box low end solution, but is there any chance of removing this limitation? 

We've tried a number of workarounds (e.g., using "+" in email addresses to generate multiple variations) but they're extremely awkward since coming back in it gets confused about logins.
