Thanks ----------- Alarms in zoho crm About the app We need to have the option of setting alarms to certain account so when a user views any record (contacts, opportunities, quotes, sales orders) associated with that account a pop up will appear with a message that was created for that account. Requirements; • A “New Alarm” button on accounts to set an alarm (if complex, we could leave with doing it from the alarms tab) • A new alarm will have the following elements; o Alarm owner (self generated using current user) o Date and time of creation (self generated) o Status (open or closed. Open is the default) o Custom Alarm message (created by the user on individual basis) • An Alarm tab/menu. In there you can... o View/edit all open alarms with its data (date, time, user, message) o View/edit its status and allow changing it. • Once an alarm is “closed” it creates a note on the accounts notes and gets deleted from the alarms section.
