Best way to add visitor tracking to emails coming from Zoho CRM
We have 50,000 leads in our CRM. From within our CRM we're sending:
- One-off emails to select leads with links to our website
- Workflow emails to leads with links to our website
- Mass emails to leads with links to our website
We'd like all of the above emails which come directly from our CRM to generate the visitor tracking so if a lead in our crm clicks on one of the links to our website within an email, we install the SalesIQ cookie and associate the visitor tracking data with their record in the CRM.
We currently do this successfully when we send mass emails from Zoho Campaigns so we have already installed the right SalesIQ tracking code on our website.
Question: What is the recommended approach when sending emails from Zoho CRM?
Would you recommend we:
Option #1. Manually change any links we include in emails sent from the CRM to include the ?siq_name=$[FNAME]$ $[LNAME]$&siq_email=$[EMAIL]$ at the end?
Option #2: Add a Smart Identifiers tracking pixel to any emails we send?
Option #3: Do both?
