We just subscribed to CRM and Creator, installing Sales Management 8.0 on the creator side. I'll talk in theory first, then I'll itemize at the end what I think we need.
We really need some consulting or direction on how best to use the system to our needs. We want our 4 sales reps to be able to go out with a price book of products with 5 price levels.
We are not sure if it's best to create 5 pricing levels when you enter each product? Or is it best to do multiple retail prices through price books. I found price books to be quantity discounts only out of the box, is there a way to simply set price books up as Percentage markup levels over the cost field?
If pricing is A-E levels with A being cheapest and E being highest price, we want the ability to sell 9 items at E, but we may have a loss leader at A pricing level on an invoice to get in the door with low margins. Price books may not allow this. But we have contract pricing for a small amount of customers, so price books may work there?
We simply want better pricing to customer options, and that may be multiple changes to the pricing system in Zoho?
