Create a template based on exist project

Hi Zoho Team,

We´re using Zoho Projects to manage the opening process of our stores. Since the opening process is basically the same for almost all the stores, we decided to create a template as the base of all the opening projects.

We at first created a project, set the initial and due date, the dependency and get every task asigned. Later we created a template based on this project.

Entering the template, we noticed that "start after" column has no value, we thought it could because of the first task has no predecessor(the only one). So we set the correct "start after" days and after refresh the page, all the tasks had a "start after" days value.

But here comes the problem: some tasks had the correct "start after" value and some not.

Later we´ve tried several times and this issue just keeps appreared. Since our projects had began already, we manually sett all the "start after" values in the template with the correct days.

This week, we´re creating another template and again this issue apprears.

We´d like know if we did something wrong on creating the template?

Task Inline Editing Enhancement
Hi All, Today, we have made an enhancement in task inline editing. In 4.0, task edit is moved in a single screen in a pop-up. We designed this in-order to make the task edit across the product to be the same. Let it be in Feeds, Tasks & My Tasks tab, Calendar & My Calendar tab, a click on the task title will open the popup and user can edit the values. Customers pointed us the inline editing was very useful to them & how much they miss that in 4.0. Based on the feedback, we have rolled out this enhancement.
