Custom Order Management Scope: Application will accept quote requests from an API and reply via API with pricing information held in Product and Shipping tables. Application will accept order requests via API and reply via API with confirmation to include data/time of order receipt, order parameters received and auto generated sales order number. Upon receipt of order, a Production Order (PO) will be created by combing order information with Product Information and Cost Information from Product and Cost tables. The PO will be sent to production vendor via API or Email. System will receive input from production vendors via API or webform regarding status of orders and will post status updates to customer via API. Various simple reports will be required. Tables: The table structure I see as necessary. Product Table – Includes all products that can be ordered. Product Specifications for each to be provided to Production Vendors. Product table also includes Sales Price for each product. Order Table – All information for an individual order is collected here. Assigns order number on input and tracks the data/time of order receipt. Shipping table – Includes shipping costs based upon weight of product and zip code. Cost Table – Includes production cost for each product per quantity Summary: I’m not a programmer, but I do know with detail what I need. I believe ZOHO Creator is an acceptable choice for a low cost, flexible, scalable solution. I need assistance putting this project together quickly – getting the basic structure down and next working to provide customer facing API’s to my client so that they can start to program to them.
