I am currently testing Zoho Invoice for functionality with terms and condtions page.
What I am looking for is a streamlined solution, where customer has to review and accept agreement before making the payment.
One way to do it would be echosign or docusign esignature and then separate invoice. It's $15 a month+ double work solution though.
Another way would be fastdue with it's contracts and invoices. That's 2 separate emails though, with $10 a month pricetag.
And finally, it looks like Zoho implemented something useful into invoicing - terms and conditions.
Problem number 1 is the character limit - why only 10,000? Why limit that at all? Multipage agreements are more than normal for all aspects of our lives. Even basic rental or non disclosure agreements are way more than 10k characters.
Problem number 2 is how it looks like on the customer side? I am trying to test it with fake customer but I don't have 2 paypal accounts, so with paypal being my payment solution I have no way of seeing how it works.
Could someone please explain to me how it looks like? Is it a tick box? Or entire agreement that has to be scrolled through and "accept" button pressed?
One thing I noticed and don't like is lack of that agreement page being displayed and clicked through BEFORE going to payment solution page/paypal. Is there a chance to address that?
Hopefully developers will catch this idea as I think it could be very useful for many businesses.
Thanks.
