Hello, we are soon going live with Zoho Inventory and are needing Items/Products to automatically populate into the Account in CRM when Invoices are finalized. Over the lifetime of having a customer, they purchase products from us for than once. Many times over time. Having a list of products sold helps tremendously especially when they contact us for support related questions with products that include warranties. We don't have the time to hunt and peck through each invoice to know everything they have purchased from us.
When viewing an Account in CRM, we need a "Customer Assets" list displaying everything that Account has purchased from us over time, that would include for following columns:
Invoice Number (with link)
Invoice Date
Product/Item Name (with link)
Quantity Purchased (for non-serialized items)
Serial Number (with link to purchase order, sales order, and invoice)
Vendor Name (with link)
Manufacturer
Model
If we have product/item custom fields, it would be great to select which of them we want to include as additional columns on the list.
We also need a Status and Status Date column should an Asset Item ever be:
Returned
Replaced (due to an RMA)
Exchanged
Inactive
Transferred
Stolen
Is this currently possible in any way?
We are using Zoho One. Is CRM the best place for a Customer Assets to live as Invoices are finalized in Zoho Inventory?
