I've suffered a lot with the depency setting with Zoho Projects.
Here is the story:
Our company needs to repeat several projects every month, so after creating a project and setting the dependency I've convert it into a template. But there's one thing doesn't fit the Zoho Projects dependency logic in our project which is: instead of one task begins right after the the task that depended on finished, some tasks should begin several days after the previous task is finished.
So, after converting the project to a template, I found all this type of tasks lost the right "start after" date in the template. I issued the problem in the forum and later told by the technic guy that Zoho Projects is like this.
OK, I can bear with it. I exported the correct task list, using spreadsheets to calculate the right "start after" days and manually correct them every time opening a new project based on the template.
But now it´s the WTF moment:
SOMETIMES, In the created project, when I change the date of one task, among all the taks that depends on this task, only those tasks that begin right after this task will changed according to the new date. But the others that begin days after just keep the old date.
So, what should I do? To adapt my project to your dependency logic?
