Feature requests that have gone ignored or unaddressed - Kanban, subtasks, blueprint, layouts

I've seen several major things that people requested a long time ago, which Zoho said was on the roadmap and would be worked in, that have still not been done. With some of these we're talking a year or longer that these were brought up and still have not been addressed or implemented.

Custom Project Layouts

We can create custom task layouts, but we're only given one project layout. Why on earth can't we create custom project layouts like we can task layouts? This should be a simple thing, and it's essential for so many businesses... including my own.

Subtasks showing up in Kanban view

Currently, only top level tasks show up in the Kanban view. Honestly, the kanban view is one of the most useful things Zoho Projects offers... but it's made virtually useless by not being able to see subtasks!

Custom Kanban views

Being able to view the kanban columns by Task List name, Priority, or Status are all very useful... but what if I want to create custom, go-to views within that? What if I want to filter it down to 5 particular statuses? Or what if I only want to see tasks from a particular task list? And what if I DON'T want to have to set all select all those features each and every time I do this? This is why we can set up custom views in the CRM and other apps... why can't we do it here?

Blueprint for Projects

Zoho has implemented a FANTASTIC blueprint & automation system for Zoho Projects, but right now it only works on top-level tasks! This would be INCREDIBLY useful if it was implemented for PROJECTS, not just tasks. If Zoho were to make Blueprints available for projects rather than just tasks, the usefulness and usability of Zoho Projects would absolutely go through the roof for so many of us. I know for me it would increase usability to such a degree that I'd reorganize how I actually USE Zoho Projects on a fundamental level to take advantage of it.

SO - where are we at on these improvements, and why have they not been implemented when people have been asking for them... and in some cases... asking for them for YEARS?

Zoho Projects now generates a unique number for each project, task, and issue added. The auto-generated ID is a combination of a prefix and a number which is assigned by Zoho Projects. Task Inline Editing Enhancement
Hi All, Today, we have made an enhancement in task inline editing. In 4.0, task edit is moved in a single screen in a pop-up. We designed this in-order to make the task edit across the product to be the same. Let it be in Feeds, Tasks & My Tasks tab, Calendar & My Calendar tab, a click on the task title will open the popup and user can edit the values. Customers pointed us the inline editing was very useful to them & how much they miss that in 4.0. Based on the feedback, we have rolled out this enhancement.
