Well, hello there everyone! If you've been following our blogs, you would have definitely seen the one about the integration between Zoho CRM and Cliq. Here's a post to shed some light on the integration.
What is this "integration"?
Excellent question. With this integration, your CRM account will now be connected to Cliq so as to be able to control most of your CRM's workings straight from your sales team channel.
Setting it up
A user with Administrator privileges can set up the Cliq integration for their organization
only from Zoho CRM
.
To set up Cliq integration in Zoho CRM, there are two ways:
From the Marketplace:

3. Click Enable.
Now that you're all set, in order to make the most of this integration, you need to be aware of what it has to offer. So here are some tips for you to get most out of your CRM-Cliq experience:
1. Include @Zoho CRM bot in your conversations
Have a bunch of meetings with clients that you just can't keep track of? Tired of having to always check your schedule for making customer visits or calls? Wish there was an easier way to share information related to a particular deal?
Never fear because Zoho CRM Bot has got your back!
Setting up reminders for Cliq from CRM:
1. Go to Zoho CRM's Calendar.
2. Click Options -> Preferences.
3. In the Preferences pop-up, make sure that the
Turn off reminder via Cliq checkbox is cleared.
4. Click Save.
Pro tip: If you want to gather information about a particular lead or deal directly from your team channel window, type in @Zoho CRM followed by the name of the deal and the bot displays all the details in the channel window. For example, "@Zoho CRM Princeton Corp" will display all the details pertaining to that particular deal from CRM.
2. Slash Commands to the rescue
You can pull up details about specific deals or leads or contacts directly from CRM twith the slash command "/zcrm" and post them directly to Cliq.
For example, you want to know the status of all your deals. Type in "/zcrm deals", and a dropdown of all your deals from your CRM account will be listed from which you can choose the one you want, to see the details.
3. Keep your team in the loop
Say you want your sales team to get notified whenever you close a deal. Create a workflow on your CRM account and enable Cliq to be notified whenever you close a deal by adding the action and trigger and have the updates sent straight to your sales team channel!
For example, you can customize and automate your workflow such that you can enable notifications on Cliq for a user or a particular channel whenever a deal is closed or if the revenue generated is more than, say $10000.
How:
1. In your CRM account, go to
Setup
-> Automation ->
Workflow Rules
2. In the Workflow Rules page, select a rule to which you want to add Cliq notification as an instant action.
3. Click
Action
-> Notify -> via Cliq
4. Make use of message actions
Did you know you can turn your messages and discussions about any lead into notes that you can store in your CRM to refer later?
With the message action, "Add Notes to CRM", turn any discussion into notes for a record in CRM and ensure all information is stored in one place.
5. Send from CRM to Cliq
You can also share reports and charts from your CRM account directly to your sales team channel on Cliq.
Note: Only reports with charts can be shared to Cliq.
To share your report, click on the options menu above it and select "
Share via Cliq
".
1. Enter a message that needs to be posted along with the report.
2. Choose if you want to notify to
Users
or
Cannels
.
3. Based on the previous choice, select the required user/channel.
4. Click
Send
.
