How To Manually Log Received Emails?
Hi,
Because of internal IT issues, I need to manually log inbound emails from leads & contacts through the Zoho CRM user interface. I cannot, for the life of me, see how to do this.
I can send emails from Zoho and I can forward emails to Zoho using the "BCC Dropbox" but I can see no link for "Log New Email" the way there is for New Task, New Event, etc. The only way I can see to accomplish this is to forward the emails to the BCC Dropbox without a recipient, go find the new blank lead that's created, search for the lead who sent the email and then merge the new lead with the attached email back to that master lead. This is way too absurd to be the only way to do this when there must be an obvious way to just manually copy and paste the email via the web user interface.
So, without giving me any instructions for Zoho Mail or Google Apps integration, how can I manually log a received email to a Lead in Zoho CRM using only the web user interface?
