Let me explain our scenario:
We provide on job support for the consultants working in US on hourly basis. We have the temporary Developers or freelancers who help our consultants in US to clear the issues faced in their jobs. I want my employee to update the daily tasks freelancers work on the tasks given by the Consultants to the Freelancers on a daily basis.
Please consider the various scenarios we face during this business process. Kindly suggest how we can use the Zoho Projects in solving this business process.
1) Need to identify and maintain all the details related to the Consultant and Freelancer who works for that particular project. If we want need to give access to the developers / consultants to the projects they are assigned to . Please suggest how we need to assign them either to portal / client users.
2) Projects start date is based on the consultants project start date. Based on the start date we need to automate the payment process by sending the payment reminder either when they consumed 50% of the committed hours or 15 days of the start date, which ever condition satisfied at the earliest.
3) Zoho Projects should be integrated with the Books so that Accountant will followup regarding the payments to be received and paid to the freelancers.
4) We expect that we maintain the consultants as Contacts and Freelancers as Vendors in Zoho CRM
5) When I have integrated the Zoho Books, Zoho CRM & Zoho Projects - the sync is taking much time between the 3 modules . When I want to create an invoice from the Zoho Projects it is asking to add a Client Company and It makes sense if it is connected to Contacts & Accounts.
Can someone help me how to use the Zoho Projects in mapping the business scenario.
Is there a way to assign a client to a project with out giving them access to the project or creating an account. Can you confirm if there is a way to be able to select a Client Company from our CRM Accounts list or a workaround for resolving this.
