Knowledge Base blueprints for drafting, proofreading, checking and approving articles

We have some workflows in place to release technical documentation which require a process management structure where we :

first announce the requirement for a specific article topic (the announcement/request phase)
then analyze the content requirements of the article (the analyzing/planning phase)
then create the document/article (the drafting phase)
then proofread the drafted document (the proofreading phase)
then check the technical integrity of the drafted document (the checking phase)
then approve the drafted document (the approval phase)
and finally release the article (the release phase)

There are also of course transitions which send the article back in the process tree for possible problems down the road. Some of these phases are executed by different roles in the technical documentation department, by SMEs and by different departments in the company depending on the content.

Desk already has incorporated the blueprint feature which in theory allows us to implement such article releasing processes. Would you plan to expand the blueprint feature also into the knowledge base module in the future for article releasing purposes ?
