Linking Contact

Linking Contact

So we are trying commerce. Really to see if we can use it in our shop as a POS front end. It is very important for our company to link each small purchase to a customer so Square, izettle POS are poor as they do not have that ability and create a daily invoice for all transactions. To date lots of double entry by hand. 
I had hoped that an entry in Commerce would go across to Zoho books and link to the contact there based on perhaps email. It would seem not. Does anybody have any ideas please.
