Hello,
I seem to be stuck in a bit of a bind here. I have integrated Zoho with my third party forms (gravity forms) to capture the GCLID from the URL and pass it to Zoho CRM successfuly.
I have one more issue though...
I am using a call tracking software called CallRail, and CallRail is able to capture the GCLID with their own AdWords Integration.
I am currently using Zapier to pass the call data from CallRail directly into the CRM as a lead with custom fields which works beautifully except for one major flaw. It appears that I am unable to manually access the GCLID (which CallRail also captures) field like I do the rest of the custom fields in the API.
I was told that the GCLID field in zoho generated by the AdWords integration is a system field and is unable to be manually populated. The reason I'm questioning this is because with third party forms I am accessing the API which allows me to populate the system generated field.
Due to the way it is setup with 3rd party forms it appears it needs that special code in the hidden field of a form to pass the GCLID into the Zoho API - and in turn the GCLID field.
I need to know if anyone has figured out a way to populate the GCLID field through the API in any way through any of the above methods or really any method that I could possibly get this to work.
The major problem here is, if I am only tracking half of my offline conversions accurately then this entire offline tracking process is essentially useless to me (and anyone else wanting to use Zoho to track GCLID's outside of form fill data).
Thank you for any and all assistance on this!! I'm tired of banging my head against the wall on the last step of this conversion tracking journey!
