Project Numbers

Does anyone use Zoho Inventory to manage PO and Invoices linked to projects they are doing (eg building a house).

We have a construction company but our current CRM uses project numbers as the main grouping in the hierarchy.

Can Zoho Inventory be used this way?

I see we can have custom fields, modules and related lists that could possible make this work.

Any help would be appreciated.
