Hi,
we are using Zoho Desk and Zoho Projects to manage and resolve customer support tickets. New ticket come in via Desk, after qualification and review, the ticket gets moved to Zoho Projects. In order to do this, a task in Desk has to be created.
so the flow looks like this:
Desk Ticket - Desk Task - Projects Task
I know that its not possible to skip creating a Desk Task.
When creating a Task in Desk, a number of parameters have to be defined, such as Priority, Due date, etc.
However, the Task that is automatically created in Zoho Projects (which is the one we pick up and work with), again has a different set of parameters, and Priority, Due date, etc. are not synced.
In essence, our team members have to fill out parameters for a Desk Task (which for us is a complete waste of time), and then move to Projects and manually fill out necessary parameters again, as almost no parameters get automatically synced.
How can we remedy this work- and error-intensive situation, without having to get additional integration tools in place? Right now, its faster to create a Projects Ticket completely manually, as the integrated path can not be configured to our needs.
Br,
Sven
