The right structure for us to use Projects has ended up being Task List Templates for many of our standard functions, and when a new project arrives, the Project Manager will add the relevant Task Templates and connections between them.
That said, the Task Templates View right now is a little clunky. First of all, it defaults to showing each Task List Template with all tasks expanded. This means you can only see the top item (depending on # of child tasks) before you have to start scrolling and collapsing.
The second issue is that we're going to end up with a pretty good-sized collection of Task List Templates - we have almost 20 identified to build, I expect over time it will grow to as many as 50. Right now Task List Templates are "manually" ordered - simply having the ability to sort alphabetically by name would let us use a naming convention to ensure the list is always sorted as Templates get added/removed.
So, in summary, it would be great to get:
1. Either an Expand/Collapse all control on the view, and
2. A control to sort/reverse sort alphabetically by the Task List Template name
Thanks!
