There is a problem with indenting and outdenting tasks and subtasks. If you add a task you cannot get the task to sit in the correct position within the project. Two obvious scenarios:
i. If I create a task, then try to place it at a level between two other tasks, it becomes a subtask to either one of the tasks. This is completely wrong!
ii. If I want to make it a task, then it has to be dropped at the top of the list - becoming a subtask to a header.
iii. Reordering DOES NOT WORK for this tasks, it bizarrely drops tasks to the bottom of a list.
I gather this has something to do with the way original .mpp file had the tasks and subtasks listed, but this is a common way of creating a plan in MS Projects or any equivalent software. the inability to handle indenting or outdenting is completely unacceptable.
I had a call with Prasanna today and he agreed that this should be brought to the Dev team...Just doing my part and documenting the issue.
Pls fix this...it is a dealbreaker and it should be a critical fix.
