Tip of the week #4 - Consistent email signatures for your team
Email signatures are as important in every email as the content. Set up signature templates for your team to have consistent signatures on every email that goes out from your team.
Create templates and associate them with your inboxes. Your team can now pick the relevant signature while composing the email.
Make sure to use variables in the signature content if you want to use team members' personal information like names and email addresses.
Here are some best practices for drafting email templates:
- Keep it simple. Have the basic details and contact information of your team.
- Use quick links if any, that will benefit your recipient.
- Avoid multiple fonts.
- Restrict the use of images.
- Include personal email addresses if needed.
You can create and manage signature templates from the team's settings. Also note that only a team admin can create a signature template.
