I have been working with my company internally, which is a global entity... we are a franchise network of over 1,000 offices worldwide and we recommend Zoho CRM to all of our owners and clients. When it comes to Zoho Campaigns, they have been very resistant to take ownership of their need to make critical improvements to their product and have continued to imply that they are not the problem and would like to know the source of inquiry. After some investigation, my company IT Department has replied and this information, which is quite revealing about Zoho's email product...
The
Barracuda Network, which relies on customer reports and complaints from all their equipment worldwide has marked domain zcsend.net [Zoho Email Sending Domain] and is
flagged as a known spammer. Well, not them exactly, but their network of worldwide clients who used their service to send email in such volume that the complaints led Barracuda to add it to their
global "block" list.
By contrast, Barracuda trusts emails sent by Constant Contact, Vertical Response or MailChimp enough that they're automatically "whitelisted" worldwide. The difference is in what the two vendors accept as input. CC auto-checks and gives you an estimated spam score before it allows you to send anything. I don't know much about Zoho but I suspect they don't do this, instead allowing the content to be entirely in the hands of their clients.
Well Zoho - there you have it. Sounds like you've got some improvements to make on your product. There have been many concerned users struggling to use your Zoho Campaigns product to the best of their ability, and after reading the forums, most responses from Zoho Support imply that there are either no problems or the problem lies with the user/customer. This however, is not the case - Please, for the last time... improve this product or risk losing customers.
It's nothing personal Zoho, but for us business owners using your product... it doesn't make sense for us to rely on the success of our business if your product doesn't work as well as others [block list vs. whitelist]
