V 2.1: Introducing Webinar Q&A, Co-presenter, Analytics, My recordings, enhanced usability and visual appeal

Hello there,

After our announcement on webinars , we received plenty of requests on additional webinar features, following which we have now introduced a Q&A, Co-presenter, Analytics, My Recordings and a lot more.  We have also enhanced the usability and improved the visual appeal of the app.


Introducing Q&A in Webinars

Now make your webinar more interactive by fielding questions from your engaging attendees. You can review all of the questions and choose the best ones to display by answering them to all. When an attendee raises a question out of context, you can also answer it privately.

 

Introducing Co-Presenter

Make any attendee a co-presenter using 'Make Presenter' option and allow them to share their screen/application and present using their microphone and webcam during your webinar.

 

Introducing Webinar Analytics

Measuring the webinar and following up is as important as the webinar event itself. Now get in-depth analytics like registrants and attendee list along with region, login time, duration, engagements in polls and Q&A during the webinar. Measure and find the right leads to follow up and convert them.

 

Introducing My Recordings

Now manage all your meeting and webinar recordings in your Zoho Meeting portal itself. Replay, download, and share the recording with your attendees for later reference. Now easily manage your cloud storage either by deleting the older session recordings or buying extra storage space. The storage limit goes as 10 session recordings per host for lower plans and 25 session recordings for higher plans.

 

Enhanced usability for audio/video conferencing

Now, we have better handled the usability to enhance the user experience while launching or joining a meeting or webinar session. You can choose the audio options before entering in to the session and check your audio and video connections beforehand.

 

Presenter and participant app

After an analysis on the visual appeal for the attendees, we have now implemented the white theme to presenter and participant apps. This not only includes the change in color theme, this also holds better visibility to the options and the presenter's screen.

 

Web client

  • Reorganized the tabs in your Zoho Meeting portal for better usability. 
  • Introduced handy placeholder for the downloadable apps like chrome extension, iOS app and desktop app at the bottom of the home tab
  • Moved the 'Manage Organization' tab inside the Settings page.
  • You can now start an instant meeting right from the My Meetings tab itself.

Security enhancements

The desktop app is updated with the latest signed certificates.

Enhanced security implementation in web client and servers.

  

Bug fixes and other enhancements

  • Scrolling down the list of meetings and webinars are now better handled.
  • Switching between phone audio and computer audio is better handled.
  • Starting a meeting from the join page, meet.zoho.com needs authentication now.
  • The issue in reconnecting to the server after 15 min is resolved now.
  • The server connection problem while switching presenter is fixed.
  • Sending incorrect attendee list to the server in specific cases is resolved.
  • The screen sharing issue after changing the presenter during the meeting is fixed.
  • The issue of showing participant from iPhone as 'Guest' in some cases is fixed.
  • The issue of not showing the participants joining meeting from iOS app in attendee list is fixed.
  • The issue with screen sharing for participants from iOS app is fixed.
  • The issue of unable to reconnect to the server is fixed.
  • The issue with duplicate presenter is resolved.
  • The issue with email reminders for webinar is fixed.
  • The issue with org logo getting distorted in the registration page is resolved.
  • The issue in uploading company logo is fixed.
  • The issue of IVRS messages played partly for some cases while joining the phone audio is fixed.
  • The issue with screen sharing missing for some use cases in the recorded video is fixed.
  • The attendee list is now not visible for the webinar attendees.
  • The issue of error messages gets lost under the announcement bar in web client is fixed.
  • The issue of unable to invite a participant for a meeting with lengthy domain name in email address is fixed.
  • The issue in sharing the screen via the desktop app while starting meeting from Opera browser is fixed.
