We are glad to share the details of yet another roll-out in Zoho Meeting, this time, with some features that are sure to improve attendee participation in your webinars. These include Raise Hand, Allow to Talk, and the option to join webinars through the Zoho Meeting iOS app.The Give Control feature that lets any meeting participant take control over another participant's screen has been released for Mac PC users as well. Apart from this, we have made enhancements in our conferencing servers and fixed a few bugs for better performance.
Webinar Edition:
Raise hands
Your webinar attendees can now use the Raise hand feature to get the attention of the presenter during a webinar.
Allow attendees to talk
Organizers and co-organizers can now let any attendee speak during a webinar using the Allow to Talk option. The attendee's speech will be captured in the webinar recording, and organizers and co-organizers can revoke the permission to talk at any time.
Join webinar from iOS app
Attendees can now join webinars on the go using the Zoho Meeting iOS app. They can raise questions, participate in polls, view, and listen to the presentation from their iOS devices.
Copy a webinar registrant's unique joining link
Webinar organizers can now copy the unique joining link for each attendee and share it with them if required. You can view this Copy Join Link option in Registration List.
Meeting Edition:
Give control in Mac
Meeting participants who are Mac users can now use the Give Control feature that lets another participant take control of their screen. This feature already exists for Windows users.
Enhanced Org Settings
Organization admins can now enable or disable sound notifications in meetings, registration notification emails for webinar organizers, registration confirmation emails for webinar registrants, and thank-you emails that are sent to attendees after webinars.
Initial setup screen for first time users
New users can now add members to their organization right after signing up with the new initial screen setup.
Conferencing server enhancement
We have done a few enhancements to improve the audio lag issue for participants who join from low bandwidth networks. We have also made major changes to improve audio and video streaming during sessions, for more stable calls from networks with different speeds.
Introducing the Firefox extension
There's good news for Mozilla Firefox users. You can now add the Zoho Meeting extension to your browser and keep your meetings and webinars handy.
Other enhancements and bug fixes
We have enhanced the user experience of attendees who join meetings and webinars through mobile apps.
You can now watch or download your meeting and webinar recordings from all mobile devices and browsers eliminating the need to switch devices or browsers.
You can now view recordings right after your meetings and webinars—no need to wait for them to be ready.
The Attendee Report of webinars now gives you more details that include polls, Q&A, attendees, and missed registrants.
Presenters and participants who face microphone and webcam device errors while joining sessions are shown proper messages that help them identify andsolve issues.
We have moved to the latest security milestone. The privacy policy link has also been added in the webinar registration page.
The issue of showing the webcam video even after disabling the organization video setting has been fixed. Now webcam sharing occurs based on theorganization video setting.
All the meeting and webinar automated emails will now have your organization name as the sender name.
The issue of missing poll responses and Q&A raised by attendees who join with duplicate links has been fixed now. You can now view their data in webinar reports.
