Walk-through 8: Evaluating your session using analytics
Hi all,
Gauging how a session impacted the audience is just as important as the planning that went into it. This assessment exercise is beneficial, as it enables presenters to see if the content in the slide deck is good as is, or if it needs to be improved for future meetings. How do you gather insights from attendees to enhance presentations more effectively?
Let's discuss
evaluating your session using analytics
.
After a session is complete, Backstage generates detailed analytics to give you feedback, help spot trends, and figure out areas that need to be straightened out. Utilize session analytics to:
- Get an idea of the speaker's performance, the number of session attendees, total presentation duration, time spent by attendees in viewing the slides, and more, by looking at the basic metrics for a session.
- Know if the speaker won hearts by looking at the detailed attendee list, complete with number of likes, questions raised, and stars given by each attendee.
- Look at the type of questions asked or feedback given, to see which portion of your script or presentation fell flat and which parts can be retained.
- View unanswered questions and connect with those attendees, so they benefit and are encouraged to attend future sessions.
