What's New in Zoho Subscriptions - October 2021
Hello everyone,
We've revamped the Customer Portal experience for your customers. The portal now offers comprehensive subscription management, thereby putting more control in your customers' hands and saving you the time from making requested changes yourself in Zoho Subscriptions. Here's what's new:
Trial Management via the Customer Portal
Customers who are in the trial period of their subscriptions can perform the following actions:
Activate Trials
Subscriptions in the Trial status can now be activated and converted to Live at any point during the trial period. Perfect for customers who want to impulse-buy your product! Learn more.
Extend Trials
Trial periods can be critical for customers to evaluate your product, but it can be cumbersome to decide how long the trial period should be, since the time required varies for different customers. Now, if required, your customers can extend their trial period when it ends, potentially preventing a churned subscription. Learn more.
Subscription Management via the Customer Portal
We've added a bunch more subscription management features that aren't trial-specific too:
Edit Subscriptions
Your customers can edit their subscriptions by themselves from the Customer Portal. You can provide them with the permission to edit everything from upgrading/downgrading plans to managing addons and applying coupons. Learn more.
Toggle Auto-charge
If your customers have a payment method associated with their subscription, they can now enable/disable Auto-charge for their subscription as required. Learn more.
Remove Scheduled Cancellations
Subscriptions that have been scheduled to be cancelled at the end of the current term can be prevented from being cancelled, just in case your customers have a last minute change of heart! Learn more.
Reactivate Subscriptions
Subscriptions that have churned don't have to stay that way. Now, if your customers want to come back to a particular product or service, they can reactivate cancelled or expired subscriptions by themselves from the Customer Portal. Learn more.
Extensive Customer Portal Configurations
All the features mentioned above will be available to your customers only if you've enabled them. We've added an exhaustive set of configurations in Zoho Subscriptions for the Customer Portal, so you can get it to work exactly the way you want it to. Learn more.
