Hello developers, I own and run a very small manufacturing company which makes a two-way radio (in very limited quantities) I'm having some trouble accurately tracking the repairs that come into our business. I have tried to make our own database but I am completely lost with how to finish off the search entries and access to our to repair staff. Basically, I want to be able to fill in half a form when a product arrives for service or repair so we have the customer's details the fault description etc etc, then e-mail the customer at that time saying we have received his goods and also print out the information just entered to accompany the item as it goes through the repair process. When the repair has been completed, we go back into edit the same record and add the details of the actual repair and the test results when it has been completed. Again we need to e-mail the customer saying that the repair has been completed and we need to be able to print out the form which can accompany the item when it is sent back to the customer. I need to have online access to the database so if there is a repair location other than our office somebody can logon to see if our product has ever been repaired before etc etc. I need to have the search ability to search on a job number, the customer's name or the product serial number. Basically, this is a pretty easy request from what I understand I just don't know how to go about putting it all together and making it work. I do have completed through ZOHO all of the data entry fields that are required so a lot of the layout etc has already been completed. I am looking to somebody who can come along, wave a wand over our work and get it working into a usable database where I would like to populate it already with about 600 repairs and have the ability to add another four or five repairs each week.
