Hi there,
It's been a great year for Zoho Meeting! In 2019, we added many new features and enhancements, and we're grateful to have received numerous high ratings and reviews from our users. In addition to introducing registration moderation, new dial-in and toll-free numbers, and webinar engagement features, we made many improvements in Zoho Meeting to optimize the performance and quality of our online meetings and webinars.
We thank all our users for staying with us through this year's journey. We look forward to serving you better in the coming year.
Enhancements
Device recognition: Zoho Meeting can now recognize new devices, such as headphones and cameras, if you add them to your hardware during a session.
Use session key as access code to join from phone: Attendees can now use the meeting or webinar key (10 digit code) as the access code to join the session by phone. Previously, access codes were different from keys and could be viewed only in meeting invitation emails or by selecting phone audio in active session windows.
Join meetings with presenter's link: Sometimes the presenter of a meeting mistakenly shares their Start meeting link with other participants instead of the intended Join meeting link. Until now, participants could not join meetings using this link and were required to use the Join meeting links from their email. However, Zoho Meeting now notifies a participant when they use the presenter's link and lets them join as a participant.
Mute phone participants: Previously, the presenter of a meeting could only mute participants who join via computer audio or VoIP. Now, we've added an enhancement to let presenters mute participants who join through phone audio as well.
