With the announcement of HD quality in Zoho Meeting I thought I'd give it a try. The video quality seems okay, but I wouldn't call it full HD quality. Though still not as good as Zoom or Google Meet, it is acceptable to where I could use it.
However, I have an 49" ultra-wide monitor with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 (aspect ratio of 3.56:1). When I share my screen, even if I share only an application window, the entire screen appears on the other participant's screens (with non-application-specific areas blacked out), with the application window appearing very small. Even if they zoom in (which is possible only a limited amount), the application window is still too small to be useful. See the attached screenshot. Other video conferencing software (i.e. Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams) don't show the entire screen when sharing only an application window. They only share the application window so that the screen-sharer's monitor doesn't affect other participants' screens.
Furthermore, if I share an application window, all the windows appear. There's no way to select only one active window for an application. For example, if I have my web browser open with 2 or 3 separate windows, all of them appear in the screen share, with no way to select only the one I want to share. Again, other video conference software allows the selection of specific application windows, not just the application only.
It is completely unusable with the way it currently works.
