Date and Time Format
About 3 years ago someone posted a question about date and time formats being set to the US format. Whatever display format is set, one must enter up the dates in this format, eg. 30th April must be entered in the cells as "4/30" and not "30/4". This was declared to be on the road map for change, and this was three years ago now. Are the Zoho development team aware that the good old USA is actually the only country in the world that uses this back-to-front date entry format? As a user (& partner) of many Zoho products (Mail, CRM, DOCS, Projects, Campaigns, Invoice, People) I constantly struggle with how to advise new users to approach the design of Zoho DOCS to best support their use of the other products. This is a key missing piece from making Zoho Docs a killer app. So What is Missing? A small client program that allows you to select folders/files for synchronization with the server (Zoho Docs). I've already done this before in the past, but the functionality seems to have been lost. I want to use Show to run a slideshow on a large screen in our call centre to show performance updates from Creator. So I want to embed half a dozon different Views from Creator into a Show presentation, where the content is being dynamically updated from the application. Team, I am testing the DOC platform and have not found an acceptable way to access pdf files saved on the platform. When you select a PDF file (upload pdf or Zoho pdf) the loading speed on IE and Chrome is poor. Is this a systematic issue with PDF file types? Please provide what we can expect with PDF files. I have a document that I'm bringing into Zoho Docs. Each line has a carriage return that I want to remove. I know how to do this in many word processors -- searching and replacing -- but: 1. I don't see how I can view the carriage return characters in Zoho Docs. Is this not possible? 2. Since your maintenance last night, my published snippets of spreadsheet are screwed up! I tried editing the code with an updated snippet but it came out the same way! Hi, I tryied doing this is Google Docs and was unable, so I want to know if it's possible to do it on Zoho. I want a Background Image on my document fitting the whole page, a paper craft texture. So far I love the workspaces........ When I add files or folders to my workspace, it looks like these files are still in their original location. So if anyone in the workspace make a change to the file that is in the workspace, will it also be reflected on the original file? When I signed up for Zoho Docs, it defaulted to my username being the same as my email address but with "Periods (.)" in between where the @ symbol and the - dash in my email address. We are trying to open a new excel we uploaded and we are getting "unable to open xls file" We can download the document and work on it and upload the document. Hi again! I got pretty quick help on my last question, hoping to get some more answers on using Zoho docs. First, in the tutorial videos, it looks like you can drag and drop files/folders? into other folder structures. I've tried this on my PC with Chrome, and my boss has tried on his Mac in both Safari and Mozilla.
