Hello, Hope the day is treating you well. Last week, we saw how we could automate the calculation of total shipping charges from numerous shipments for your sales orders and invoices. This week, we will see how you can automate the calculation of total item weight for your sales orders. How does this work? First, you are required to capture the weight of all your items using a custom field. And when you create a sales order, you can either have the system display the individual weights for you orSerial Numbers on Sales Orders and Picking List and maybe even packaging lists
I keep reading about of a lack of functionality that does not allow a serial number to be added to a sales order. How can we keep a true track of our inventory if we cannot follow a serial number from Receipt, through Sale and on to order fulfilment? This should surely be a basic requirement of any inventory system. When is this due to go live please as we cannot hope to use Zoho as our inventory system without it.
