Zoho Inventory API - Examples Needed
I am about to implement a link to push Sales Orders from my X-Cart ECommerce platform to Zoho Inventory. The current documentation in the help system is very sparse and does not include enough detail to allow me to work out if I can: 1) Push Sales Orders in multiple currencies. For each item in the Sales Order, I need to be able to specify the Currency and Exchange rate. Is that possible? 2) Prior to pushing the Sales Order I need to check that the customer already has a Zoho Contact record.inventory import

Hi, In Inventory, Packaging Tab - the orders move from Packages Not Shipped to Shipped Packages and finally into Delivered Packages. I thought the orders would have cleared from this final section when the invoice was raised but my orders seem to be staying there indefinitely. Hi, I am having trouble figuring out how to set up an automation. Scenario - Customer issues a new order with a ship date 4 months out. I enter a sales order with the appropriate "Expected Shipment Date". I want ZOHO to notify me (either email or pop-up) to prepare the shipment for this order on the expected shipment date. **CAVEAT** I don't want to get a notification for every single sales order. Products were created in shopify, sync'd and confirmed in ZOHO Inventory with initial inventory count of zero. PO was created and received in ZOHO inventory and counts were updated on the products in ZOHO inventory. The inventory count was not updated in Shopify though. I have performed manual sync and also waited 4+ hours, inventory counts in Shopify still don't reflect the values in ZOHO inventory. There seems to be a problem with adding new items or editing current items in my inventory. Every time I go to add a new item it just spins and never completes. About every 3rd or 4th attempt to add the same item will be successful. Same with editing existing items. This just started happening in the last hour or so. To help quickly view the status of all orders, please consider adding a "Paid" column to the Sales Order table. Each order essentially has two paths of completion: fulfillment and payment. As it is now we have columns (Packed and Shipped) to represent the related statuses for Fulfillment, but only one column (Invoice) to represent the related statuses for Payment. Up until now, our inventory was handled by a 3rd party in a warehouse where we rented space. We are now bringing this process in-house, leasing our own warehouse, and fulfilling all of our own orders. We would like to use Zoho Inventory. However, there is a lack of FedEx LTL available for it's shipping integration. Can you offer any suggestions to this? To make help clarify the status of a packing slip, can you please add "Partially Packed" and "Fully Packed" to the statuses? These are much more helpful statuses than simply "Not Shipped" and "Shipped". What happens if we buy an inventory item for a certain price; eg £10, then later on the cost price goes up and we buy another one for say £12. The quantity will say 2, but what will be the value of the 2 items? When we do year end stock checking, I'm guessing it will say 2@ £12 = £24, but we will only have paid £22. I am creating a sales order in zoho books using custom function when a sales order is created, it reflects on zoho inventory with a creation of new sales order in it with status as "fulfilled". But actually I did not specify the status as "fulfilled" in my script at the time of SO creation. Hi, We sell mobile accessories like to distributors, retailer etc. We obviously buy packing material like boxes etc for these phone covers. But we don't sell these separately. We need to make purchase orders for these boxes - which means we will have to make them as items. However, since we sell phone covers and not these boxes, we are not able to track them. Hi We are a carpet retailer and I am preparing to upload all my stock items into Inventory. We have lots of individual carpet pieces that we normally sell as they are as one piece. I am planning to upload them so each is a unit that a customer buys '1 of' (eg, 4m x 6m = £200, so 1x unit @ £200). However, there are times when we may offer to cut a carpet down for a customer.
