Hello, Maybe I could not find the proper way to do it, but when entering tasks that took place in the past for an ongoing project, the system automatically assigned the current date when they were marked complete. Isn't there a way to enter the actual end date if it was in the past? Hi, I am trying to set up daily opening procedures for my company. Each day, I would like my employees to perform a series of tasks and subtasks. I'm using the free version of Zoho Projects, and I would love to re-arrange the order of tasks in the Gantt Chart. Currently, the default is by percent completion, but I'd prefer them ordered by TaskList, so that groups of tasks are more meaningfully clustered. I don't see an obvious way to do this. eg. Task = 20hrs Recurrence = 10 x weekly My understanding is that "planned hours" for this should be 20hrs x 10 = 200hrs. Is this correct understanding? Currently when I plan projects this does not happen. The "recurring" symbol shows beside the task and the details are correct....however only 20 hours are applied to the "planned hours" - the recurrences are not counted. We have a team of 10 within a website development agency, that migrated from ASANA to ZOHO. One of the issues that we are experiencing is that the assigned tasks do not auto refresh for our developers specifically, so unless they refresh their display frequently they might miss a task that might be of high priority. We would like our tasks to appear in order of when they need to be completed. I suppose this is roughly by due date, except that we are not using dates, our template is purely dependencies, since all tasks are fairly short. Our ideal target state is that any tasks now due (predecessor tasks all complete) show up at the top in kanban view, which is mainly where we work from. There is a column named "Created Time" but there is not a "Created By" column. How to divide a single task into several different days? Let me explain, John has a 24-hour task. I schedule it for him Monday through Thursday. He has another task from another project at 8am on Tuesday that I can't move. Currently, in order to have a fair resource management, I divide the 24h task into 3 tasks of 8 hours that I place Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tip 37: Time Log Restriction in Zoho Projects
Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion.
