Be able to re-run a Task Export with current data
It would be great if a previously run Task Export, could be re-run again with current data. In effect this would allow the saving of a Task Export as a template. By re-running the Report, the Filters and Columns would remain, but the data in the export would be updated.Able to limit certain tasks/milestones to be viewable to different external contractors?
We are the developer of a number of construction projects and are hoping to use Zoho Projects to manage our schedule and share information. However, we have a number of vendors and contractors for every project and much of the information we wish to share is sensitive between different contractors. Is there a way to limit what each external contractor sees? Can we assign certain tasks or milestones to particular users or external clients, without giving access to the entire project? We are just starting to use Zoho Projects for Google Apps, and would love to see a nice Google Drive Integration. What we need isnt the same as a dropbox integration, that is - What we put in Google Drive should stay in Google Drive, not beeing converted to and from doc/xls-format. Hello, I have about 300 files in a custom module in our CRM. I was going to try and "project manage" these from the CRM, but they are just too advanced to be able to track the tasks properly. I have them all exported to a .CSV file, but can't for the life of me figure out how import them into Projects. It will only me to add tasks, not entire projects. Please help. I am trying to export an overview in excel, with all hierarchical elements of a project. I managed to export a list of milestones, and also a list of tasks. But the tasks were just in a continuous list, without the assignment to a task list or milestone. Is there a way to export all the hierarchy? When googling, I saw that I should export from the project view, but that view does not give me the option export, just import... If this does not work, Zoho may not be the right choice for me. We do not want Zoho sending emails to clients without our explicit permission. Is there a way to disable all emails? For example, when I associate a project with a client, they get an email even though we have indicated that they should be opted out of all emails. Zoho Pdoes a lot of things right as a platform provider and I have to say the support we have received has been better than many of the other SaaS platforms we work with. How can I allow users to edit completion percentages of tasks and limit them from being able to edit anything else? The only option I see is to give users permission to edit tasks in general that they own or are assigned to. I don't want them to be able to edit everything about the tasks. The only thing I want them to be able to edit and update is completion percentage. This way they won't mess up budgeted hours, change dates or delete things on accident. I am learning Zoho so please excuse if I misunderstand something. I set up a project, marketing campaign. Besides regular task management I see that projects can be associated with deals. My assumption was that if I do, I can then see the stats from those deals in the Dashboard or Finance tab of the project. I closed some deals during this campaign and associated them (had to create accounts for each contact just for that). When filtering time entries in Timesheet view it would be really helpful to have a URL to click to the Task the time entry was made - is it possible? From that aspect, the 'Comments' box right now is too small and could fit in only possibly two lines (attached screenshot). Hi, I'm trying to create a custom function that sends an email, an HTML email with formatting and images, to be used with a business rule in Zoho Projects. I've stripped the 'message' part of the sendmail function right back to basics but it still fails. In the example below, removing the DIV styling tags allows it to save successfully. Hi I saw that there is a way to create a checklist using Blueprint, however, I never saw how it was initiated. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
