Is there a way to add an extra column to denote the tasks as "critical tasks" when exported to excel format?Dashboard lists
Can a dashboard list show more than 10 items? Example- Today's Work Items on my current project has more than 10 items but only 10 of them show in the list.Budget Items
Currently it seems you can only have budget items related to work hours based upon task. If I want to added budget items around travel related expenses or other expenses for the project how can I currently track that? Having the ability to add additional budget items beyond just hours seems to be a big need, since expenses are not just hours. I have just finished watching your "Blueprints in Zoho Projects" video. I'm curious if you are going to introduce the "On Hold" type statuses into Projects. This feature was recently included into the Desk ticket status types back a few months ago. An "On Hold" type of status should stop a timer on the task (or at least create a second type of reporting time) and create an additional report where the timer is calculated based on the task type. In Zoho Projects, you have more control over the user profiles by customizing them with access permissions. We have now enhanced the module-level permissions such as view permission for tasks & issues and field-level permissions for tasks. You can customize user profiles to view only the relevant tasks. I am trying to get started with Zoho projects. I believe I am "signed in" with a user name and password. The first thing it tells me to do is create a portal. There is a line that has http://projects.zoho.com/portal/ then it has a blank area for me to enter my new portal name. When I enter something here, and then click on the "Create New Portal" button, nothing happens. It simply clears the field and I'm still stuck on this page. Seems like milestones could use the ability to be customized. I'd like to be able to create layouts for milestones similar to how one creates them for tasks. Background: I have Account with Deal in Zoho CRM and projects mapped with Account and Deal in Zoho Project. I would like to create task and sync them between Zoho Project and Zoho CRM. Hi Our company imports and exports large container loads of products. These products are generally not put in inventory, but are rather delivered straight to a manufacturing customer. When using a roll-up defined project I find that I often have to add new tasks that are dependent on a existing closed task. Having this dependency will set the Start date of the new task. Unfortunately Projects does not allow the adding a dependency on a completed task. The work around is to go back and change the predecessor task to open, then add the dependency for the new task...and then go back and close the predecessor task (and remember to return the predecessor task completed date to theLink task and bug

I have a custom field I made called 'Tracking #', and I want to be able to put a clickable link in that field so I can click on it and go directly to my tracking info from my task in the project. I often need to add a follow-up task to a completed task. Unfortunately Projects will not allow using a closed task as a predecessor to this new task. It would be great if it would be possible to Copy a closed task. Having to open a task to copy it and then Close it (and remember to return the completed date back to the original date) is very cumbersome. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
