Hi, I created a tasklist with tasks, which I converted into a model. My goal is to create multiple tasklists using this model. However, when you create a new tasklist from a model, you can´t name it. It take the template´s name by default. You have to edit the newly created tasklist afterward. It would be great when setting the Work value in a task to have the Work Type i.e. hours per day, hours) default to a configurable Work Type. We generally use Work Hours, which is the not the default. We have to be very careful about not missing this. So I just recently moved my company to Zoho projects but I noticed it is missing something so basic. On the My Tasks you cannot sort by the columns... Also by default all the tasks with no due date show first. To me this is backwards, if something has a deadline it should probably show up before all the rest. One thing we haven't found an answer to is that sometimes, we need to retrieve the email account of the current user (matching an access token). We are a consulting company and will use PROJECTS to log the hour spent by our consultant on each project. It seems that i have to select a project and be in the project to log my activities / hours. Zoho Projects team, You've got a great product here, but it is also VERY backwards. The way this software is set up is not the natural way. Even your support icons are on the bottom. Please think about it. In a lot of softwares that are EASY to use, where do they put thier support buttons? On the top, people. Your software is missing duplicate template features. This is utterly baffling. with the sheer amount of templates and sheer length of each template means they should be easily duplicated.Subtask Work Hours Not Reflected in Milestones
I have a Task List related to a milestone. Within that task list, I have subtasks with Work hours associated. When I look at the Milestone view, the work hours from subtasks do not show. In this screen shot, you can see the work hours associated to the "SEO Done" milestone. Might be an idea, or just something I can't figure out how to do. As I create a new task, I must assign it to a project. Sometimes, I think of one task first, and it could relate to a new project, but I want to just start with the task that popped into my head, then flesh out the project once I'm on a roll creating tasks. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. To customize, navigate to Task & Timesheet settings under Portal Configuration in Zoho Projects setup and enableCatch Zoho Projects' New Video Series!

I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
