What notifications and emails do clients receive automatically?
I'm doing work for a client's client. Primary client doesn't want secondary client to have any info until completion. This morning primary client emails saying "don't send other guy any docs." Secondary client emails asking about 7 files that were sent to him. I DID NOT send anything to secondary client. So my question is this: what in the ever loving universe did Projects send to the secondary client!? This is a rather large issue because these are brand new clients and I'm not impressing them
Global notification
Hello, I have some trouble with my colleague with notification and I can not find an answer in the settings or in your forum. We have some common projects et we need both to receive all activities. Nevertheless, when I post a message in the forum, she receive a mail. But when the client or I send a comment in this same forum, she does not receive it. Only the creator of the forum receive it. Hello! In the pop-up that shows task predecessors and successors the help says there is a link that can be clicked on to remove a dependency. How do you get that link? I don't see it at all for either a successor or a predecessory. Thanks!
Resource utilization: changing work hours per day changes the workload defined in the task
Hi, I planned my tasks adding fixed hours for each resource, let's say: John works 5 hours and Julia works 3 hours to complete a task. If I see that they are overallocated I thought to change the hours per day but WITHOUT changind the estimaged working hours. How can I fix ghe estimated hours? I've suffered a lot with the depency setting with Zoho Projects. Here is the story: Our company needs to repeat several projects every month, so after creating a project and setting the dependency I've convert it into a template. I've been spending a lot of time trying to get the Dependency feature to function correctly. Theoretically, any date depending on another should retain the time/date gap between the two, correct? I have around 100 different tasks in my project, and A)it's been extremely tedious to link dependencies between the lot, and B)once I had it set up, it didn't work. Task completion notification
Right now, there's an option to send an email notification when a new task is assigned, but I can't find an option to send a task-completion notification to the person who created the task or the milestone owner. Am I just missing something? Without that feature, it's very difficult to manage projects completely within the zoho environment. Setting Dependency, Best Practices
Is there a way to configure a Task so that the Start Date is automatically calculated based on the Duration and the Dependency? Right now I am manually calculating the start date based on the predecessors end date. There has to be an easier way. Please advise.

Tasks are the basic blocks of any projects. Their interdependencies drive the project and are a major factor in determining if the project stays on track. Setting dependency between tasks for every new project could be tedious. When you create templates for projects, you can also create dependencies between tasks and reuse them. Setting up dependencies for project templates is easy. In the Projects page, go to Templates and select your project template. Click on Tasks and select Dependency view.

Looking to be able to add a new task to a task list template and have the option to automatically add it to all current tasks lists. Reason: We are a franchisor. My job is to help new franchises get open. We have a team of 5 departments that each have their set of tasks (marketing, legal, operations, administration, technology). One Click To Stop Timers (New Update Adds Unecessary Steps)
Hi there, I see that we got a new update to pause timers. However, the number of clicks to close a timer has increased. Before, you close a timer with one click. Now, you have to click and confirm that you are closing the timer. Is it possible to click once to stop timer? I am trying to prioritise bugs for my engineers, but I can't find a way of re-ordering the bugs in priority order, except by fudging it with due dates which I don't want to do. I can reorder the bugs on the Kanban board, but this doesn't seem to be saved anywhere.

Problem with Projects Dependency View
I am trying to set up dependencies between a number of tasks in a new project. When I enter a row number in the Predecessor field and move to another row the value I entered just disappears. I have tried a number of times, including logging out and back in and rebooting my laptop. I am using a Chrome browser on Windows 10.
Multi-day event
Many of our events are multi day workshops but the Events does not allow for an end date- only a start date. Is there an easier way than having to create a separate event with all of the participants for each day of the event? It is quite time consuming. Thank you.

Hello - It would appear that Zoho has changed the way subject lines read for email notifications from Zoho Projects. Previously (as of last week), the subject line would read: Hey, you got a comment for "[forum name]" topic. Now they read: [user name] commented on forum This means that emails are being grouped in our email application by sender rather than by project/forum. Is this a setting that can be changed?
Transforming a "Subtask" in to a "Task" of a Task List.
Hi all ! I'm using the free edition of Zoho Project. I created my task list, under this, I created some main tasks and under these main tasks, I created subtasks. The problem is in the Kanban view... the subtasks are not there.... So, I'm trying to change my subtask to a tasks.... but the I did not find option to do that in free edition.... How to have in zoho invoices, every timesheets, client and projects that we had created in zoho project? (and/or vice versa) In Zproject, I can create a client, and in Zinvoices too, so why can’t I find those client in both apps when I create one? And it’s the same for timesheets and projects. For instance, right now we can export timesheets of Zproject but we can’t import them directly in Zinvoice because it’s not the same data disposal in the template of export/import. If i want to add one new status i am unable to do that , can zoho have any option to give access to add status to manager .
