No Start After or Duration in Project Template
I spent hours setting up a project just right and made a Project template from it. I open the template and there is nothing in the "Start After" or the Duration fields for any of the tasks. I have at least one other Project template that does have values in these fields. What am I doing wrong?Task Description Open by Default
With the new layout the task description is collapsed by default. This is causing issues with our team missing important details that are included in the description. I think it would be ideal if the description was visible by default, or if this would be available as an option in the Setup screen.How do you use Task Lists?

Hi One of the features I use extensively in the modules Zoho CRM is Attachments. I use it in the Leads, Contacts, Cases, Campaigns, Solutions. I use it heavily and really like it. I'm baffled that Zoho Reports doesn't have this feature. Or am I missing something? I am relatively new to Projects so maybe I'm not aware of it. Are there plans to add it? I have many tasks, in a task list, and those tasks have up to four levels of subtasks. Is there a way to show only "matching" tasks when filtering - not higher level (in the subtask hierachy)? What i'm seeing is that when i filter in the Classic View - it is showing me "ALL" of the higher level tasks even when those don't match my filter, if one lower level task "DOES" match my filter. Due to the number of tasks in the hierachy, it's as if there is still no filter applied - even though there obviouslyADMINITRATIONS FOR DIFFERENT GROUPS
I have created separate GROUPS for different Departments in my company and each Group has an administrator. We don't need/want to see each others Projects and it needs to be that way because they need Admins rights to manage their projects. You should consider a full review of how projects, tasks and issues are identified. I was a Jira user that moved to Zoho Projects and one of the features our company misses and needs the most is the ability to refer to a task or bug with a simple code instead of a lengthy - not useful - number. For example, when creating a project, ask the user to set a project key (4-5 letter unique code). Thus all tasks and bugs are created with this KEY as a prefix. At the end of the day we need to print all of the tasks that were closed that day. After the tasks are printed, I would like to move them to a different Task List so it is clear they don't need to be printed again. Once a Task is closed, the box next to the task that you can check when it's open (to move, change priority, etc) is gone. I need that box back or some other way to move the completed task. I currently am using using this method for uploading files: https://www.zoho.com/projects/help/rest-api/documents-api.html#alink4 It has a message at the top of that page stating that the api is deprecated. As of yesterday, it seems that I can no longer upload files via this method. The server replies with an empty array and no file is created. I've been using Zoho Projects for a while. Just set up a GSuite account for the company for handling e-mails, docs, etc. There's a Zoho Projects app for GSuite that I installed. Many of the comments say that it integrates GSuite and Zoho Projects very tightly. However, I'm not really seeing any changes. Hey Zoho Projects Team, Every day, several times per day, I have to change timer inputs from "Billable" to "Non-Billable" in Task -> Log Hours. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. To customize, navigate to Task & Timesheet settings under Portal Configuration in Zoho Projects setup and enableCatch Zoho Projects' New Video Series!

I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
