Hi: While using reports, I cant find a way to separate tasks vs. subtasks. Example: I am getting 18 tasks in the report, but only 3 are real tasks, 15 are the steps needed to achieve those 3 tasks. I have to report my boss/client only the tasks. He doesn't need to know about the steps needed internally to complete a task. Is there a way I can get a report only of the tasks? Thanks. I've created a template with all the denpendency, start after days and durations set. After creating a new project based on this template, I founf that there're a lot of tasks didn't have the correct dates, they didn't correspond to the initial date of the project + start after days. Hi: It would be great if I can navigate to a client and find all the related projects and files related to him. You see, one client can generate several projects. Some may use the same documents as a reference. Right now we have to upload duplicate documents for each project, since navigating to find the original is not easy (some projects might be archived and hidden). Just an idea. Hi, I have a issue with a new user, his email existed before with other consultant, So, when I add him to projects, the user that shows in the portal is the old user, the new user doesn´t show up. I deleted the old user and add the new user, (email is the same), show me up the old user than I was deleted, and never show me the new one. There does not seem to be away to set a task item to billable or non-billable when the task is being created. I have figured out how to go in and change it in the log, but if you work on something at several different times, you don't want to go in and have to set each entry to non-billable. Billable Hours: Can I make a Project 'Billable'? By this, all hours spent on this project agaisnt any task will be 'Billable' and 'Non-Billable' can not be chosen/applied for such projects. Hi all, I have a question regarding the "global reports" section. In our setup we have many projects running, and when our CEO looks to the global reports section, using the milestone gantt, and filters for "task owner" or something else, what he reaches is a view in which all the milestones are present, not only the ones that have a "visible" task. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. To customize, navigate to Task & Timesheet settings under Portal Configuration in Zoho Projects setup and enableCatch Zoho Projects' New Video Series!

I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
