How do I amend a users name?
Hello there New user here, I'm the project space owner, I've added the email address of the person I'll be collaborating with but it just shows the first part of her email address as her name - how do I change this to show her correct name. When replying to a task comment via email and including an attachment, the attached file does not appear in the comment on Zoho Projects, but rather only goes to the Documents area. The attachment should appear with the comment itself, just like when you add a comment via the web interface. My previous post didn't seem to go through. Sorry if this becomes a duplicate. Is there a way to connect a project to another project? For example, let's say I want to create a project that has our company goals. Or maybe each goal is it's own project. Then I have a bunch of projects that are related to those goals. Is there a way to tie one project to another project? I don't think this software is necessarily built to do this but wondering if there is a workaround. What I want to do is to have projects tie to a company goal. That way, when people are working on a project/task, they know the reasoning, even if it's just to see it. Hi I have set up milestones in several projects, allocated task lists to those milestones, added tasks to the task lists, and made the client user the responsible party for the tasks and milestones. The client user updates the tasks to show complete, and when all tasks are complete the milestone shows as complete. So far so good. However, when I look at the "My Home" dashboard, the tasks show as complete (good) but the milestones do not (bad). Can you help please? Thanks CameronDelete a zoho project

I have a $20 subscription to Zoho PROJECTS. I have a free subscription to Zoho INVOICES. From within PROJECTS I have activated the Zoho INVOICES integration so that I can easily create invoices for the work I do in PROJECTS without having to leave PROJECTS and launch INVOICES. THE PROBLEM The only way I can create an invoice in PROJECTS is to first click on a Project then the side menu appears and I can create an invoice but the invoice will only feature work from that Project - not any other ProjectsAsset Utilization Within Projects?
Can anyone recommend how to accommodate Asset Utilization (tracking an asset's use) within Projects? For example, we are a Chemistry environment, with instruments used for analysis, that we need to track usage for. I have discovered a potential bug in the system. When you set a "Start Date" and then select "Enter Duration" and select "hours" then enter "5" for example the end date does not calculate correctly. This only seems to happen if the Start Date is after working hours. For example, I entered a start date of 09/Dec/16 09:00 PM with a duration of 5 hrs the Due Date calculated as 12/Dec/16 11:00 AM. I'm attempting to populate a list of StatusTypes and set the bug statusId as the default selected. When rendered nothing is selecting. Reproducibility, Severity and Classification are all working but StatusType is not. All the seperate ideas in this forum are great - but I am bold today and suggest a complete re-design of Projects - like CRM or DESK experienced this year. In our opinion, the UI is 2010. Some settings here, some there... no tags I could search for. Totally out of date. If ZOHO would do the same good work they did on CRM and DESK for POROJECTS as well, it would be all we need. With all the nice features that came with it for the other modules: tags, search, all related stuff in one page, etc. EveryI'd like to use Zoho Projects

Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion.
