Wildcard user for project templates
Would be nice to have a kind of wildcard user related to the project owner for example. This way you could assign the wildcard user to tasks when designing a project template in order to get them assigned differently each time depending on who starts a project using the template. Hi there, I'm new to Zoho Projects and I can see that you can create a task by emailing a project relevant email but for some reason that doesn't work for me. Our company works on multiple projects at a time and we'd like to be able to see a view of the Gantt chart with one bar/line for each project so we can plan out future projects based on the timeline of existing projects throughout the year. I know that within the milestone gantt, I'm able to see a column with the projects associated with each of the milestones, but I want to be able to see ONLY the projects (one project per line/bar). I wanted to see if you are aware that displaying the users' email address in Zoho Projects is a PRIVACY VIOLATION. In "All Users/People in this Project" module you display name AND email address. This is done WITHOUT user's approval. People are leaving the project because their email address is exposed and can be harvested for unsolicited email. Can you please look into this? Hi Zoho Project Team, its quite good how task can be internal and external - so client can see selected tasks or group. However that is not the case for FORUM. It would be good have FORUM to have "internal and external" option - so client can see on the external FORUM only. Internal forum stays with the team alone. In addition it would be good to have merge option in FORUM as there many case team member responds via email and it opens up another forum post. When viewing the Dashboard "Feed" on a project, another manager and I don't see the same history. When she looks at the "Feed" on this project, notes go much further back than my "Feed" view does. My feed only went back to April 22, 2016 to start with. Then I clicked around and the only thing we can come up with is that I opened the calendar which goes much further back and when I went back to the Feed I had information all the way back to March 25th. The project goes much further back thanClosed/Completed Subtasks not hidden when setting task list to only show Opened tasks
The sub-tasks have been a welcomed addition to Zoho Projects. One thing I really hate though, if you have your task list set to only show Open tasks, after you complete/close a subtask, it is still visible. Any chance on this being fixed?Next Page

Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. To customize, navigate to Task & Timesheet settings under Portal Configuration in Zoho Projects setup and enableCatch Zoho Projects' New Video Series!

I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
