Create a new Project Template Based on an Old Project Template
Hi, I was wondering if its possible to just duplicate a project template? The reason being is that I want to use the same template but the "assigned to" will be designated to different people. Signing up client A will be designated to Salesperson Tom, who will hold the share of the responsibilities Signing up client B will be designated to Salesperson Dave who will hold the share of the responsibilities same process, but the assigned to will be different. Hi, I accidentally associated the wrong task list with one of my milestones and when I try to delete either the milestone or the task list, I am warned that associated data will be deleted. hi Zoho team I seem unable to find the function to view uploaded images in a preview/thumbnail manner in the various folders of the Documents section. The list-view as a sole option is just not workable with large, similarly-named images in a series only showing up as text. I'm just starting to use Project and am struggling understanding why the administrator doesn't have the ability to track the creation and deletion (on a macro scale if nothing else) of tasks, milestones etc. AND the ability to restore them if accidentally deleted. (Maybe not every edit of the task but the last version before deleted.) So this is what happened in my test of project. I spent an afternoon putting together a schedule. A couple of observations: 1. The dependency that a Task List item must first be linked to a Google Task before it will appear in the Gmail Plugin New Task->Task List Name drop down list is very inconvenient. I do not understand the rational behind this. Why is there this dependency when the other data points communicate directly with Projects? 2. The ability to be able to create a new Task List in the Gmail Plugin would save time. Having to jump from Gmail back into project to create a Task ListHow to send a message to all users simultaniously ?
If i would like to send a message automatically to all my contractors, or user in all my Zoho Project, is there a possiblity to do that? As we understand Zoho Projects, you are only allowed to have one project template per project. We have used task templates but there doesn't seem to be a way to have a template whereby all the task and subtasks are already assigned to a user. Please advise Thank you!!!!Screengrabber in Safari

Hi there, I have a forum post. I want users to be able to "Like" it. This way, I can know if they read the post without having lots of replies to the thread. The only work around I can think of is this - ask them to post a status mention saying they read that post. Do you think this would be a feature for the road-map? I want to be able to read all of my task from the screen and when printing, At present I cannot see the full text as a couple of the task have longer sentences. Is there a wrap around facility as in excel. It does not help flow of a project if you cannot read all of the previous tasks. I wonder if there is a way to mark non working days so that they dont become the part of any task/milestone duration. For example, I add a task of 4 days starting from Thursday. Dear all, It seems like the hours used in the resource allocation feature does not always match the number on the actual task. The problem seems to be that full time tasks (which is defined as 8h per day, 5 days per week in my system) are correctly calculated in the task view but in the resource allocation view, the task size is 24 hours per day. When entering timesheets it is sometimes easier to have a day view. Is this on the cards. Also, I noticed that when changing to 'weekly enter time' that it doesn't pick up previous days that have been entered. So at the moment, my understanding is that the only way to get a view of what has been entered in a specific day is to export it. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. To customize, navigate to Task & Timesheet settings under Portal Configuration in Zoho Projects setup and enableCatch Zoho Projects' New Video Series!

I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
