What is the cause of the expand/contract icon (+ or - ) sometimes being available and sometimes not. Specifically (as shown below) This is a list of Tasks within a single Task List. All three of the Tasks shown have 3 sub-tasks. When viewing the Gantt charts there is no Project Name for each task, so because a lot of our tasks have generic it names, it all just looks a mess and there's no way to indentify one task from another. Custom fields are so badly needed in the project module.... In addition, the option to have a manager or similar role set the milestones and have an "employee" or employee 2 role user not be able to change milestones is critical. The manager sets milestones and wants to know when those are deviated from, if the employee can move those it defeats the purpose of color coding for some companies. The viewer and other roles don't give functional tools for an employee, so there should be an option toadding attachments

Hi! Whenever I have task which has the same start date and end date, and a duration of one day, and I move it (to a different day) in the Milestone Gantt view, the task will always be changed to a two-day task with the start date unchanged but the end date moved one day into the future. Hi! If I open the Resource Utilization view, the default view is current week. If I change this to month, the little blue boxes which tells me the work for each task disappears. This is very unfortunate as they are extremely useful both for visualization and for "task tuning". Would it be possible to add these boxes to the monthly view as well? Currently there is no way to add a task description. So because of this we have to leave larger amounts of text in the comments section. However the box is so small and so it makes referencing the first things you have written very hard as you have to scroll up and down. Can the comments box be made larger? I want to use Zoho Projects as my internal tasking platform with my staff, which includes recurring daily and weekly tasks. The "End after" limit for recurring tasks is 30 so is it possible to make it so it lasts forever? Hi, I can customize a current project and then tick "Apply this (disabled tabs) to all projects in this portal". This then mirrors the same tabs across all projects. However when I add a new project all the tabs appear again. I would have assumed it would carry across to new projects as well, and it's very frustrating that it doesn't. Can this be rectified? Hello, I have created 1 project template, some task lists and on each task list, some tasks with its subtasks. All tasks and subtasks are configured with duration=0 and star tafter=0, this is a project template and at this moment I don´t want to setup this. If I then click reorder, move some tasks around, then click save, it seems like all my sub tasks are displayed in reverse order. Hi! When moving tasks around in the Gantt chart by using drag and drop you can either move a task in time or create a new dependency between two tasks. It seems like drag and drop works like this: Click-and hold on task. Drag it horizontally to move it in time. As soon as the mouse moves away (up or down) from the current task's row, the "mode" will change to "create dependency" (the dependency arrow will be shown). Hi, I have changed the layout to "fit to screen" in settings/personal settings/themes in order to use more of my screen. If I don´t use it zoho will just display in 1/4 of the screen in the middle on retina or 4k displays which is pretty much the standard now. I guess "fit to screen" should be the standard setting all over zoho to avoid making it very small in the middle of the screen and useless. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion.
