Im using Zoho for managing a support project.We receive daily tickets in an extrnal system and we replicate that ticket in ZOHO. My developer then works on that ticket daily and puts time (on a daily basis). He does that for multiple tickets on a daily basis. He puts his daily hours in Zoho timesheet. Is there way I can find out the total number of hours (across all dates) the developer has worked on a particular ticket in Zoho? Thanksdelete a portal user?
I recently deleted a portal user. Or at least I thought I did. I was still able to login on the portal as the user and they still had access to projects. How can this be? When I logged out and logged in again as the admin/portal owner, the user account had been restored. We have employees and/or clients come & go all the time and must be able to delete them without having to worry about them logging in. Thanks.calender

So I have the ability to group projects, which is nice. However, I cannot filter on project groups , which is exactly what I would like to do:Get activity related item ID
To avoid high consumption of the API I thought about using the Feed the project to determine the data to be synchronized in my integration. But in the returned data, there is only the activity ID, there is no related item ID field. I can find this data through the activity ID?Client User Responding to Forum Post
We have a client user who is responding to a forum post via e-mail. He clicks the button to reply, the correct e-mail address comes up, but the response is not making it into the project itself - not on the forum, nor anywhere else. So I've got a team using Zoho Projects and we can't seem to see the tasks that people complete. I change the filter to view closed tasks and I only see 1 task of my own that I completed when first testing out how the project software worked. I am the project owner and not being able to see what people who are part of the project are completing. It's really frustrating. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong. We use Zoho projects to manage a team of people both locally in our office, and with freelance workers across the country. It works great for everyone, except one freelancer, who routinely has a variety of problems. 1. She cannot tag anyone when creating a task. Once the task is created, if she then clicks to open the task, then tags someone, it usually (but not always) works. I'm having to go through unassigned tasks to see if anything is missing. 2. Sometimes tasks and their associated uploadedI need to link several milestones to a task.

I cannot see how to edit or delete a Task Template. Steps to reproduce: 1. I create a Task List Template, in my screen capture I call it 'Zoho CRM Initiative' 2. I create four Task Templates under it, in my screen capture these are 'Needs Analysis' thru 'Scope Document' 3. I am able to Edit and Delete the Task List Template 'Zoho CRM Initiative' via a gear Icon to the left of the Task List Name 4. I have two employees setup and last week they didn't receive any notifications. One has a gmail account, the other one has a yahoo account. We've had this issue before where ti seems to come and go. Ciao why don't update the opportunity to edit user info direclty from the administrator account? Quite often we have account as info@.... and we still keep info as a name and its impossible to reconize them. Also is important to set the role, especially inside a big project. Could you help us? I would like to set the project view for all of the employees and contractors so that they do not have to filter in order to see all the task lists. I'm using the Kanban view and setting up task lists with "To Do", "In Progress", "Testing" and "Done" the idea is that New tasks get moved across the screen as they are worked on. The problem I have is that the default view is classic and We can not see the task lists if they do not have any open tasks in them unless we filter for closed tasks. I don'tTimesheet

Hi there, I have created a demo project and then logged the tasks in order 1-24. If you notice, the sorting of the timesheet does not work properly between the different logging options (Timer/Log and Desktop/Mobile). It would be great if each task was ordered properly, perhaps using a time stamp or id for when the task was tracked/logged. This would also help when exporting the timesheet as right now tasks can not be sorted because their is no field in the excel sheet to sort by (a timestamp orIntegration with Outlook 365

Hello, I've been trying to work on an automatization project lately and I find it difficult to work with this strict structure. To be more explicit, if i would like to get all users participating in a project i would need to get all projects first. Same thing with projects. How are user rights controlled within a project. It seems that if you grant access to the project the user can do most anything. We don't want all users to be able to add & delete tasks and in some cases may not want them to be able to update status. Perhaps just follow & add comments. Hi there, I just started a new account and am testing to see if I can transfer my company over. The Tasks and Milestones tab does not show beneath the Bugs tab in the project. I know this exists because I can see the screenshots in the Getting Started Guide, but I've looked everywhere in my project and cannot find a way to add tasks at all. Been testing zoho and haven't been able to find an answer to a couple of vital questions. Each of our projects requires numerous large files (we could easily use the 30GB of space on 4 or 5 active projects), and we would require access to many of our archived projects long after they are completed. So, 1. Is there any limitation on the number or age of archived projects? 2. If archived projects count against storage total, is there a way to strip attachments from feed to recover that space withoutHow to change the role from viewer to user?
Somehow one of our guys is a viewer on the project instead of a user and so cannot be assigned tasks. The HELP feature says either he changes his role, or as admin I can do it. If I am in the project and go to followers, I can see him there, but editing him can only change his role from manager to something else. Can tickets have private comment fields? This would be useful especially when re-assigning tickets to other internal team members to provide additional information that the client should not see. Having to adjust each project to turn off pages, bugs, etc. is a waste of time! Please allow users to set defaults for organization wide so if I turn of "pages" org-wide its automatically defaulted to off in an individual project. Hello. I'm hoping I just can't find what I'm looking for... I changed the deadline of a Milestone and all the tasks in the associated task lists did not get pushed. I also don't see any way to mass select tasks and change the deadline or start date like you can change owner or mark them closed. Some of our task lists have 20+ tasks. We often have a project that will be put on hold for one reason or another. This is for bugtracker, but it's not an option in the Forum so placing this under Projects since they are similar. I have several projects for a particular client. Is there a way to establish a dependency between tasks and the underlying subtasks. I've seen the question posted about updating the % completion of the master task based on subtasks and I think I understood the answer to be (N)o it doesn't do this. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. To customize, navigate to Task & Timesheet settings under Portal Configuration in Zoho Projects setup and enableCatch Zoho Projects' New Video Series!

I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
